• Before starting read through the whole procedure. The instructions are contained in the section below. Each step is numbered. Start at the beginning and work methodically and logically to the end. If you make a mistake you should start over from the beginning. You may need to scan the Save_and_Exit barcode to terminate before starting over.
• You will need to print out the page in order to scan the barcodes. This procedure also needs page SS-9000-HexNum
• To avoid accidentally scanning the wrong barcode it is helpful to use blank paper as a mask and approach the target barcode with a sideways motion.
• If you are unclear about exactly what you have to do then contact our support engineer. We are always glad to explain and help.

Procedure

Purpose: To increase the valid time to wait before transmission of data between a cordless scanner and base is considered failed. May be needed to mitigate interference from other radio systems being used in the area. Changing the channel number may also help. See SS-5100-RadAddr

	1: Scan this barcode first
	2: Scan this barcode second
	3: Now scan two numbers from sheet SS-9000-HexNum. The numbers represent a time period (in seconds). Any value in range 02-19 is valid. The default 02 representing 2 seconds.
	4: Scan this barcode to complete the procedure.
